家乡某村有户姓仇的大户，依仗自家人多势众，在八八年之前的自家村子里是横行霸道，胡作非为。经常明偷暗抢邻居家的鸡鸭鹅和粮食作物。就连烧饭用的柴火，这仇家人也是瞅眼不见就偷别人家的烧。总之就是本村当人头、出村当王八的鸡鸣狗盗之辈。八八年之后，一是因国家法律的普及完善，二是因仇家几十年的所作所为最终引起了全村人的共愤，所以经过两场全村人和仇家的火拼后，仇家从此一蹶不振，多少有点老老实实的做起了规矩人。
故事发生在八一年秋的一天夜晚，明月当空之时。仇家二十多岁的大儿子仇气，和往日一样出了村子，又准备去谁家地里偷玉米了。每到秋天收获季节，这仇家人总会夜夜到别人家的庄稼地里偷玉米和花生。
仇气借着月光找到了一块玉米棒子特别大的玉米地，确定周围无人后走了进去。他掏出怀里的化肥袋子，刚掰了一个玉米棒子塞进袋子里，忽然听到玉米地里也有人掰了一个玉米棒子的动静。好象已经有人在这块地里偷玉米了。仇气一惊，当下宁神静气，竖起了耳朵。奇怪的是那动静好象也发现了仇气，仇气不出声了，他也不出声了。

最大的老母猪也不过一千来斤、一扇门板大小。可这个老母猪足有三千斤上下，而且跑动起来一点声音都没有。就连那群猪仔，连呼吸的声音都没有。也不知是仇气看花了眼、还是真的，那老母猪和那群猪仔忽然间都褪去了那层毛皮。浑身血淋淋的扑向了仇气！
仇气“妈呀”一声扔掉袋子，晕头转向、没死了命的狂奔起来。一边狂奔，一边没了人腔的哭爹喊娘！那老母猪领着那群猪仔追仇气到了村头，眼看就要追上仇气时，见很多人惊醒后拥出了村子，在众人眼前一回头，突然的就无影无踪！
再说仇气，已昏死在他爹的怀里。醒来后昏昏沉沉病了一个多月才死里逃生。从此以后，仇气再也不敢在夜里偷东西了，连夜路都很少走了。更主要的是仇气从此再也没有剥过一次猪皮了－－为什么这样说呢？还得从三年前说起：
以前，杀猪退毛，还没听说过杀猪剥皮的。说起仇气的剥猪皮，实在叫人不忍开口。那年，邻居家的老母猪病死圈中。邻居念老母猪为自家产了一生的猪仔，不忍再吃它，于
是就把它丢在了村外的水沟里。不巧此事被仇气撞见，他毫不犹豫的把老母猪扛回了家。那邻居虽然不忍自家死猪有如此劫难，奈何斗不过仇家，只好敢怒不敢言的任仇气去了。
仇气烧了滚水，找了刮铲，无奈老母猪年老毛硬，刮了几遍，猪毛仍旧刮不尽。于是仇气就想了个剥皮的法，用利刃将老母猪的整个外皮给剥了一层。那被剥了皮的老母猪浑身血肉模糊，让人不忍目睹。
也许剥了皮的猪肉真的好吃，自此后仇气家年年都要捡几头死猪、或杀几头猪剥皮而食。于是，仇气残忍剥猪皮的事情传扬开来。
仇气遇鬼的故事有人说是应了那句老话，‘夜路走多了，总会撞见鬼的’。也有人说是仇气残忍不仁，当年的那头老母猪阴魂不散，领着被仇气剥过皮的猪们来找他算帐的。
