市文化馆要办一个旧照片展览，让大家回忆或甜或苦的过去的岁月。我作为展览组委会成员，被安排了审查市民们提供的旧照片的任务。
某一天，当我浏览那一堆堆照片的时候，突然被一张照片吓倒了，并不是那照片纪录下了什么诡异的画面或者是拍到了外星人。而是因为照片上的人我认识。这张照片年代显然已经相当久远了，至少也要远到三四十年代。照片上是一个穿旗袍烫卷发的女人。从表情动作上看，似乎是一个风尘女子。虽然那时候的照片又小又不清楚，但我还是能把她的容貌看得很清楚。
按说这个女人怎么也该是我曾祖母一辈的人了，但她却分毫不差地长着我妻子的脸。难道……我不禁猜测到，她竟是我妻子的某一位长辈前人？
下班的时候，我把那照片偷偷带回了家，我的意思当然是把照片拿给妻子看，看看她认识照片上的人不认识。我的妻子是全职主妇，她不能工作，因为她的腿是严重的小儿麻痹，上下楼都很不方便。所以结婚七年我没有一次下班的时候她不在家。但今天她偏偏就没在家。
本来她不在家就已经很不正常，加之有照片事件在前，我的心里非常不安，总有一种不详却又不明晰的预感，肯定有什么意外要发生。我心里慌慌地不能让自己平静下来，于是拨通了她的手机。
很庆幸，她接了。
“喂。老公，你什么时候回来啊？”妻子这样问我。
我告诉她，“我已经回家了，你去哪了？”
电话那头，老婆“扑哧”一声笑了，“你逗我啊老公？我就在家啊，你回来了，我怎么没看到你？”
她这么一说，我不由自主地就打了一个哆嗦，我并没有理所当然地认为她在开玩笑，相反，我立刻意识到让我不安的那件意外已经发生了！
“你在哪，老婆？”我深深吸了一口
