大学进行到最后一年，我来到了一家印刷工厂实习，工厂的设备老化，还有一股浓重的木浆味道，说实话，真不想来这里。现在找工作也不容易，加上我考大学时分数低，只能调剂到了这个专业，现在后悔也来不及了，学印刷专业的，不来这里还能去哪？
放下了所有负担，我安静地在这偌大的印刷厂值夜班，所谓的实习，老板是不会把关键的职位交给你锻炼的，因为印刷设备价格昂贵，不是一般人能操作的，老板对我这样的新手也不是很信任，我就只能在这看一下机器有无异常，将新生产出的纸收集起来。
“小张啊，你新来，要学的东西有很多，你要慢慢的适应，其他的事能不管就不管。”老板对我也不乏关心，然而我总感觉不对劲，老板似乎有许多事情瞒着我。
我问老板为什么人这么少，老板支支吾吾，说自己是小厂子，请不起太多的人，勉强生存罢了。
在这工厂现在我能说上话的也就只有看门的陈叔了，陈叔是个快70的老人了，耳朵有些背，大概是被那机器的巨大噪音给震伤的，陈叔人很好。

这天夜里，我像往常一样值班，连日的劳累使我的眼睛痛的很，勉强的靠墙站着，蹲下，站着，蹲下，眼痛的越来越厉害。这时印刷机发出了巨大的响声，我被吓了一跳，挣扎着去了木浆池的观察台上，我被眼前的景象惊呆了，一咕咕的血水在木浆池里翻滚，混在着人的皮肤、毛发、器官，一股刺鼻的血腥味冲的我忍不住呕了起来。我闭上眼睛，强压着恶心感，扶着栏杆爬下，爬向大门，可手脚却像是被人抓住一样，使不上劲。出纸口新鲜的纸出来了，上面布满了血点。我疯了一样，求生的欲望使我冲向门外，一股清风吹来，我总算清醒了点。
回头望去，一切似乎没什么异常，我又不敢再回去，只好在门外吹风，然后在陈叔的传达室过一夜。
我向老板请求休息几天，老板并没有同意，说是我太累了，眼花而已，年轻人要能吃苦耐劳，我低声咒骂了一句，走出办公室，心想这黑心的老板，拿实习生当苦力用。

当我醒来时，我躺在医院，听说那家印刷厂的老板已经被抓起来了，因为他在产品中用了容易制幻的漂白物质，这对人的神经有极大的损害。我已经躺了3天了，幸亏陈叔听到了警报，及时把我送到医院，不然就一命呜呼了。我出院那天，陈叔来看我，我的眼睛也好了，陈叔与我都不愿再提起以前的事。毕业后我再也没去接触印刷厂这样的地方了。
