记得那是2011年的冬季，那一年也和往年冬季也是一样的。但那年的一件事给这平常的一年添加喜庆的氛围--我唯一表妹，突然宣布要结婚了，而且是小伙倒插门入赘舅舅家。而这个故事的开始也就发生在我表妹的婚礼当天。
“噼里啪啦……”“恭喜……”响亮的鞭炮声和亲朋的祝福声，无不显示了这是一个喜庆的日子。
“新娘到了……”迎亲队伍的吆喝声，预示着婚礼马上进入到了高潮。新娘到了，按我们那边的传统，在新年进屋前有一系列的仪式，其中最重要的一环就是“演杀”－－就是一个年轻小伙杀一只公鸡，围着新娘跑三圈，然后新娘撒红包，亲朋抢红包，抢到红包代表好运；但在这过程中要注意，都不要跑到“演杀”的圈里去。
随着吆喝声，大人小孩的欢笑声，表妹穿着红色的婚装，头顶着红盖头从婚车上下来了。家里的舅舅、姑姑都帮着把家具、空调这些搬入婚房，在经过大家的一起动手很快就把东西全部搬进了婚房。这时大家虽然大汗长流，但是每个人都洋溢着喜庆的笑容。下面就是新娘进婚房前的最后一个步骤“演杀”了。
新娘顶着盖头站在门前的路上，这时演杀的小伙提着鸡在新年面前说祝福的话语了；在表妹给了红包后，只见小伙手起刀落将鸡迅速割喉，然后将刀含在嘴上，并快速的围着表妹跑起来了。与此同时，表妹也开始撒硬币了。这时，周围的喜庆氛围更浓了，大人小孩的急忙的捡硬币讨个吉利了。但是这时，我奶奶看见一个硬币恰好掉在“演杀”的圈子里面，她便急急忙忙的跑进去捡硬币了。说来正巧，奶奶刚弯下腰，“演杀”小伙却是跑到此处；而惊险的一幕出现了，小伙“演杀”的刀恰恰掉了
下来，差点将奶奶刺伤。周围的亲朋都为奶奶捏了一把汗，但是还好没有事。虽然我们都知道这是不吉利的表现，但是在这大喜的日子大家都不好说什么，都说“不忌不忌，大吉大利……”大伙的热情并没有受到影响，就这样，婚礼就在喜庆的氛围结束了。
在表妹结婚后，没多久小侄女出生了；看着可爱的小侄女大家都是很高兴的。但是却又一件事，一直如阴霾一般在大家心里挥之不去：就是在婚后这几个月，表妹夫经常无缘无故的生病，不是头疼，就是感冒发烧！在那天不知怎的，外婆提起了“演杀”的忌讳：演杀跑进圈子，那是大凶的征兆啊！这下舅娘他们更着急了，大家都寻思着明天找个先生来帮忙解救一下。
但当天晚上却发生了一个怪事，那天晚上特别的静，听不到一丝的声响。到半夜的时候，突然“哒、哒……”一个由远而近的脚步声惊醒了半醒的舅娘。这时，舅娘心想醒了就醒了，起床去上个厕所吧。舅娘边穿鞋边想“这么晚了，哪个夜不收的还在外面逛”。她好奇的打开窗子，看了一下，结果外面连个鬼影也没有。“算了，可能是风吹着什么在响吧……”舅娘心想，然上完厕所睡觉。
第二天，舅娘因为打算要去找先生，起了个早。但是还没吃完饭就听见一阵鞭炮声响（在农村，除了清明节，平时早上和晚上都是不能放鞭炮的），她想队上是不是谁又去世了呢？结果跑出来一问，我奶奶去世了！
这时，舅娘想起了：“演杀”撞煞气，必须死人！而健朗的奶奶恰好在小侄女出生后，就突然去世了……
