第二天早上，两口子出车的时候顺便将两条蛇挑在车后面的横梁上，慢慢的向村口开去，一群上小学的孩子都跟在后面像看耍猴的一样喊着跑着，在这群孩子中有一个不起眼的男孩就是当年的我，车子将两条花斑蛇拖到了村口一个叫桥口的地方（因为那个地方是村口，又有一个解放前造的老桥，所以习惯上都叫那个地方桥口，桥边有一颗不知生长了多少年的老桑树，村中有死人的时候都要到那个地方去烧纸钱），男人下车用一个木棍将两条蛇一条条的挂在了桑树枝上，接着就开着三轮车带着女人又踏上了去山东的路。我当时站在桑树前，看着两条蛇还不断地顺着身子往下滴着血，感觉它是那么的大，那么的无辜，那么的可怜……
