短篇鬼故事之旅社遇鬼
钱四和王五结伴回乡。路过一个偏僻的山村，找了很久才找到一间小旅社。住下后，到了半夜时分，有人敲门。钱四隔着门问道：谁啊，什么事啊？
对方回答：送热水的。
一开门，一个体态玲珑的女子提着两个热水瓶进来了。女子说：用完你们摇摇铃，我就来收热水瓶。 不过最好在12点以前。
钱四和王五洗完脸和脚，躺在床上聊起天来，聊着聊着忘了时间，等他们意识到时，已经是半夜1点多了。于是打算第二天再叫服务员来。
熄了灯后，睡了没多久，钱四觉得屋子里很冷，冷得他缩成了一团。这时，
好像有个女人在他耳边嘀咕。钱四迷迷糊糊地睁开眼，见到王五在跟前，对他说说：热水瓶用好了吗？？
钱四一阵哆嗦，从床上滚了下来。
王五又问：热水瓶用好了吗？？
钱四心想，不好，王五八成是鬼上身了，忙答道：用……用好了，你拿去吧。
王五道：那我拿走了。说完提起两个热水瓶朝门的方向走去。一不留神拌了一脚，热水瓶“乒乓”一声都砸了。钱四开灯一看，那热水瓶砸碎后形成无数闪亮的碎片。王五被那声音惊醒。看到自己躺在地上，十分惊奇。
钱四把他刚才鬼上身的事同他说了一遍。王五惊慌不己。
二人匆匆收拾了一下，准备连夜离开。
刚出门，见白天那个女子就在门口，她问道：热水瓶用好了吗？
钱四和王五一把推开她，夺门而出，狂奔着出了旅社。
两人跑啊跑啊，跑进了小树林。
正寻不找路，那女子又出现了。
问道：热水瓶用好了吗？
……

短篇鬼故事之背尸
大贵是个进城打工的乡下人。经济不景气，工作找不到，身上的钱又用光了，只好去民工地下劳动力市场碰运气。下午，来了三、四个老板，招去了几拨民工，大贵个子不好，加上几顿饿下来，面黄饥瘦的，老板们都看不上。大贵坐在墙角唉声叹气。
到了晚上，人渐渐地散了，墙角边就只剩大贵一个人。这时有个老板模样的人向他走来。
“想赚钱不？”老板部道。
“嗯。”大贵点点头。
“那跟我来吧。”
大贵跟着老板走了。
老板给了他50元钱，叫他扛一袋东西到码头，交给一个叫麻四的人。麻四的人收到东西后，会再给他50元。但大贵如果私自把麻袋打开了，钱就不给他了。
大贵点点头，心想，走一趟就有100元钱可以赚，管他背什么呢。
大贵乖乖地把一袋大约100斤重的麻袋背到了码头。也顺利地赚到了100元钱。
老板满意地点点头，对大贵说：“小伙子干得不错，明天晚上这个时候，再来这里，继续帮我背麻袋。记住：不要告诉任何人。”
老板很神秘，麻袋也很神秘，但大贵是个老实人，不敢多问什么，也不敢多想什么。现在是最需要钱的时候，如果表现好，可能经常有这样的美差干。
第二天，老板如约而至，又交给大贵一个麻袋。
连续过了一个星期。
有一天晚上，大贵背着麻袋到了码头，却没有看到麻四。

喝完交杯酒，二人开始解衣宽带。
